Bringing orphaned children into authentic family life and preparing them as overcomers and influencers.
Vision
Picture neglected and abused children living in a makeshift house with dirt floors barely surviving. One day they are brought into a new home where they are received by parents who have been waiting and preparing for them. Here they discover the unconditional love of earthly parents and a heavenly Father. By God's grace they are healed of the pain and wrong thinking of the past. They learn self control, principles and responsibility. They are prepared and launched into their individual callings. They are set apart from their peers. They have character esteemed by others. They are influencers in their work, communities and culture. They lead others into the knowledge and values they have apprehended. They affect generations to come.

Hidden Treasures owns six beautiful acres outside San José, Costa Rica where the first of five homes is now operating. "House parents" at each home will model time-honored family life to children from abandoned, abused and neglected situations. With the "Carolyn House" completed, the ground has been broken for a second children's home. In order to move forward with the second home financial support is needed.
Philosophy
A child's development and character are best served by an involved father and mother. Every child is unique. Each has their own struggles, giftings and callings. Institutional approaches to child care often overlook and fail to address the specific needs of a child. Maintaining the lives of children is not the same as producing children able to serve and lead. Hidden Treasures is called to train children for a future beyond its doors.
